Hello,

Power Outages were a huge part of the hurricane season, from Florida, to Texas, to Puerto Rico, they especially make communications much more difficult.

I have built a great resource for tracking Power Outages across the United States, aggregating the information from over 450 Utilities. https://poweroutage.us/ The information provided by this site has been extremely helpful over the past year for many companies in organizing response to the hurricane season, and for the general public to get information on what was going on power grid wise. 

I got many messages from people effected by Hurricane Irma, who could not get to their own utilities website for information due to being overloaded, but they were able to get updates from PowerOutage.us . Meanwhile people outside the affected area were able to look in to see and understand what is going on and how bad the situation was for many people.
