Dear Mr. Pai, I’m a voter from North Syracuse, NY.
SINCLAIR Broadcasting merger with Tribune Media is a threat to our democracy.  Co much consolidation of media in one company prevents alternative views from being heard.  Especially since Sinclair is known for pushing its own ideology on the stations it owns. 

I’m writing in opposition to the merger of Sinclair Broadcasting and Tribune Media. 

The merger will expand Sinclair's reach beyond its legal audience cap of 39% to a massive 72% of US households. 

The FCC should not bend rules or roll back regulations in order to grow Sinclair’s pro-Trump, right-wing messaging.

Free Press is vital for a healthy democracy, and the scripted, forced messaging into our local news is over the line of ethics.

In the fervor to protect the 2nd Amendment, we forget how to protect our Free Access to information without the political taint of bias, and in my opinion, the First Amendment is much more crucial to the survival of our Democracy.
