Speaking as an ex-broadcasting technical engineer including programming and production my observation about Sinclair's conduct in the Seattle market and elsewhere is: Sinclair is "overwieght" in may metro markets already They are authoritarian regarding extremely biased politically motivated content Sinclair misrepresent themselves with extremely biased "must carry" political editorials, masquerading as "public service" content, and against the wished of network members and their local employees, effectively becoming forced speech. Sinclair does NOT invite nor include suitable opportunities for opposing political views regarding their editorials Sinclairs past & present behavior is in sharp contrast to the principles of open and fair access to a communications spectrum owned by the Citizens of The United States and principles that we allgedly cherish and support in a Democracy Sinclair is an clear and present threat to our Democracy The Federal Communications Commission's charter requires consideration of defacto or dejuerre monopoly when potentially strengthening the grip of such communications media giants and media market share.
