The FCC Office of Engineering and Technology (OET) is seeking comments in ET Docket 19-83 on a request by Auspion USA, Inc. to waive the Industrial, Scientific, and Medical (ISM) rules’ “local use” requirement (FCC Part 2 and Part 18 rules) for a 24 GHz wireless power transfer device over distance. My vote is No, the track record of the FCC is lousy at best at enforcement of the rules, and since you no longer have an enforcement branch, was told when I complained of power line noise, that you won’t come, you won’t do anything, if I wrote a letter that your people would throw it away, if I called again they would hang up.. Woman who answered the phone even refused to give me her last name and hung up on me.. So with the level of noise at my QTH being 10/ 9 on most bands, I cannot see you giving permission for even more people to generate noise legally or illegally, and since most of these people seems to grease your palms anyways, maybe some of your people ought to be in jail instead of making the rules that honest people follows, but cell phone companys seems to disregard almost as fast as you write them..
