As a licensed radio amateur since 1996 (K6WLF), This petition as filed has the potential to eliminate most if not all existing digital radio systems, including DMR, P25 and others. This would present a disastrous situation for our existing networks which are used to facilitate emcomm, as well as the many hams who have heavy investments in equipment capable of these modes.
