I am writing to strongly oppose the Sinclair/Tribune merger. Despite the de minimis proposed divestitures, the merger would concentrate far too much market and political power in one company. Sinclair has made clear that on key matters, they run their stations with full centralized control. For example, they had anchors across the country read an identical script, in an effort to falsely accuse their competitors of constantly lying. America's airwaves belong to all our citizens. No one company should have excessive control of them. But in particular, Sinclair has shown they will misuse their power. For all these reasons, their application should be denied. Sincerely, Matthew Flaschen
