I strongly urge you to not only not destroy existing net neutrality protections (e.g. classification of internet providers as common carrier utilities), but strengthen them. Our country's future depends on a strong internet and our citizens' ability to compete in this global market depends on reliable, fast, functional internet access. Removing net neutrality protections puts our citizens' access to fast, reliable internet at risk, at the whim of private corporations whose only goal is profit. They have zero motivation to provide reliable access to any provider who doesn't pay for their "fast lanes", leading to a fractured internet where the sites and services available through provider A and provider B differ. This benefits only corporations at the expense of US citizens. The government exist to support its citizens, not international corporations, and it's reprehensible that the FCC is considering bowing to corporate pressure at the expense of the very people it is supposed to protect.
