I staunchly oppose the acquisition of local stations by Sinclair Broadcasting. Such market consolidation is not in the public interest, and approval will only further erode consumer choice, greatly diminish the range of views and news broadcast to 72% of the country, and allow the extreme political views of Sinclair to erode public confidence in local news reporting.
