I strongly support Net Neutrality and the equal treatment of data and access, irrespective of the content or parties involved in its transmission. What little upshot there might be in the proposed changes, mostly to a few large corporations, is overwhelmingly eclipsed by the almost certain negative consequences for small content providers (who already must be more creative, more dynamic, and more transformative as it is) and, ultimately, consumers. The proposed changes are so unpopular precisely because of how obviously they are a sop to big corporations interested only in protecting and expanding their hold on consumer media. The role of regulating industry, for the benefit of the country, is one that the FCC should absolutely not abdicate; these changes are a step in the completely wrong direction. Tim Choate
