Please understand that the single biggest reason the owners of megaconglomerates like Comcast, Verizon and Cox were able to grow their businesses so large is because of the values of freedom of speech and the concept of a free capitalists market that was strongly encouraged and protected by the government of the United States, and respected by other nations of the world.

  To put an end to net neutrality is to deliberately abolish the very system of fair market and freedom of speech that enabled the same companies that want to end it, to become who they are today.  It limits the pool of invention and competition, leads to monopolistic practices, and eventually, to stagnation in the improvement of humanity for ALL people in the process.  

  To end net neutrality, is not only anti-patriotic, but anti-human; the freedom of the internet has helped to improved the standard of living for today's people, from average Joes and Janes to our brightest engineers, physicists, and philosophers.  Freedom of the internet through respect of net neutrality has helped friends, family, loved ones, and businesses big and small to stay in contact with each other through measures affordable to them, improving standard of happiness and therefore improving productivity and economies wholesale.
