I am wrting to the FCC to urge the organization to work with their collegues and those in Congress to work for Net Neutrality. Growing up in this country it was clear very early on that the internet is a vast library of information. Going through the educational system here internet access is essentially required, so I see internet access much like a utility. The University of California system currentl pays millions of dollars for access to newly published biological research. This is unfair, and ultimately hinders progress for research as a whole. With the end of net neutrality this model would take hold of the rest of the internet where big companies would be able to create "fast lanes" for sites of interest. Again, I urge those in the FCC to work for Net neutrality.
