I strongly oppose anything that has the intention of diminishing net neutrality. This doesn't just stand for this attack, it stands for every attack against it. This is unbelievable. What's next? Are you fake republicans going to go after free speech? You've already started down that path by obviously allowing and probably paying for bots to post fake comments on this site that oppose net neutrality so that you can lie about what the public favors. This is unbelievable. You realize that you guys are supposed to do the right thing for the people of america, and not just for your previous employers, right? You don't work for Verizon anymore Ajit. There needs to be some way to stop this crony capitalism where people come from a company into government, then pass laws that drastically benefit that company regardless of what is the right thing to do, and later on benefit from it through that same company. What scares me most about this is the way you guys are going about this. What happened to decency in this government? Half of the descriptions of what is going on are incorrect. They try to bring up the free market, saying that you have a choice. BUT YOU DON'T! It isn't a free market. If you want to switch cable providers, you would have to move to another area, which still has a monopoly. You do not have choice. There is no competition. And if you want to address that, then address it. It has absolutely nothing to do with the dismantling of net neutrality, and neither should you. This is clearly a path that the people of America do not want, and there is clearly manipulation going on to make it look like it is what the people want. This is easy to see, and it is eroding the trust people have in the FCC faster than a nail in coke. Speaking of free markets, why are you taking out a law that prevents an already demonstrated problem which greatly harms the foundation of a free market? Skype gets blocked because an ISP is selling a similar service. Netflix gets slowed down because an ISP is selling a similar service. Do you even have eyes and a brain? This is blatant disruption of the free market that you are removing protections to allow again. There is NO BENEFIT to removing net neutrality. When I want comedy, I no longer turn on my TV, I look for a video of Ajit trying to dodge the truth while he pushes his terrible agenda forward in the name of Verizon, his former employer. I would say I laugh until it hurts, but it hurts on the first laugh, and I keep watching. I've never found any argument he has attempted that wasn't something anyone that knows what Net Neutrality is would ever accept. Can we please, please start voting for chair of the FCC? This position is too important for people like Ajit. He is not mentally capable of it, and he needs to be replaced with a real FCC chair that gives me pride to be in this nation instead of shame as we descend into the practices that made China communist from practices that made America capitalist. This is a true shame. This is unbelievable and these repeated attacks against net neutrality that have been proven time and time again to be the wrong way forward need to stop. Forever. I don't ever want to have to write one of these again. This is common sense. You don't take away net neutrality. What's next? Free speech? Is that harming comcast and verizon so we have to get rid of it too? You're already well on your way to that with your spam bots that I assume are paid for by Ajit or an ISP to drown out the obvious and blatant truth. If you use those bots to say that people don't want the net neutrality that they obviously want, then you've just taken out free speech. Welcome to something worse than Communist China: population: Ajit Pai. Unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable. You don't understand free markets. You don't understand what should be the government's true role in dealing with free markets. You don't understand what the people want. You don't understand why things that are important are important. You're so detached to propose this. Please just never do it again, and resign so a good person can become the head of the FCC. Thanks in advance, George Aiken - an actual American.
