The concept of classifying Mobile broadband and Fixed line broadband within the same category is flawed. There are major differences between the technologies and the way they are used. This is also reflected in the pricing and competition. To allow a mobile broadband provider to be considered 'competition' to the fixed line provider will only strengthen the strangle hold the single fixed line provider has in my area and I am forced to purchase services from that company to enable 'normal' usage within my household. The Commission should focus on lowering barriers for entry for BOTH mobile and fixed-line broadband providers but keep them classified separately. Just because one can close their eyes and pray; it won't magically make that orange, round, citrusy fruit an apple.
