A mobile internet / LTE connection is not a replacement -- in use case, functionality, or reliability -- for a home broadband connection.

The FCC's refusal to enforce competition between the ISP duopoly of Comcast and Time Warner vis-a-vis allowing them to operate in coordinated separate markets is a disgrace, and a disservice to the American people and the very concept of a free market.

I don't expect Chairman Pai to do anything short of calcifying and endorsing these and further anticompetitive practices, but perhaps one day the FCC will be run by those who aren't beholden or subservient to the industries they are charged with regulating.
