To the commissioners: I urge you to reject a rollback of net neutrality rules. My past experience has been that traffic shaping in general is not handled carefully by one of my providers. I reached tier 3 support with Verizon after my "unlimited" data plan was rate limited and then never reset to the higher speed after my billing cycle refreshed. The ultimate resolution was pointing me to a very generic page in the customer support site after many promises of looking into my specific issues. I did get a verbal confirmation from a tech-support representative that my account problems were strictly related to internal policies on traffic shaping that were not followed to a mutual conclusion. It's clear to me that Verizon and my other provider, AT&T, are callously overselling their product lines with little regard for my actual experience when it really matters, such as using the plans for business-critical connections while travelling. If I had the option to use a smaller provider with better customer support, then I would do so. I feel strongly that rolling back net neutrality rules will limit the potential of other carriers to emerge, and I implore you to consider that actual harm has come to me under the regulations that already exist.
