I oppose Ajit V Pai's proposals to repeal net neutrality frameworks, legislature and ideas. The internet and its infrastructure should be treated as a public utility. Over the decades a lot of public money has gone into the pockets of ISPs and telecoms so that they could build internet and other telecom infrastructure. There should not be express lanes or incentives for ISPs to throttle, censor or hide certain sites behind paywalls or monetized packages. Repealing net neutrality will hurt the greater public and only benefit a few individuals at the cost of the wellfare and standard of living of the rest of humanity.
