I strongly believe that Net Neutrality should be kept in place. As a Software Engineer, it may seem reasonable to allow for ISPs to throttle/block data over certain protocols, but this can easily become a slippery slope not to mention the adoption and ever-changing technical landscape. With new services that would likely have been dreamed of over the past 10-15 years including streaming video, any possibility of protocol-based data limiting can be a hindrance for new technology development and for this reason, I am opposed. Many instances of this have already occurred for services/sites such as Youtube, Netflix, Hulu as well as ISPs favoring their own private protocols. I am well aware that Net Neutrality goes well beyond just protocol-level, and there are also several other reasons I am opposed to eliminating Net Neutrality, but I definitely wanted to provide my view just in case from a technical perspective it has not been put forward. Thank you for your time.
