In regards to MB Docket 19-193 FCC 19-74 NPRM to modify 47 CFR 73.525 regarding interference protection between TV channel 6 stations and Non-Commercial/Educational FM radio stations. The sunsetting of 73.525 should be extended to 73.501(a) footnote 1, which currently states: "The frequency 87.9 MHz, Channel 200, is available only for use of existing Class D stations required to change frequency. It is available only on a noninterference basis with respect to TV Channel 6 stations and adjacent channel noncommercial educational FM stations. It is not available at all within 402 kilometers (250 miles) of Canada and 320 kilometers (199 miles) of Mexico. The specific standards governing its use are contained in § 73.512." This provision should be sunsetted (and 73.512 amended accordingly) as much as international treaties allow, so that Channel 200/87.9 MHz is available for all non-commercial/educational broadcasters the same way Channels 201-220 are.
