I support net neutrality, backed by Title II oversight of ISPs. The notions that ISPs won't actively slow down competitors streams because they haven't already (although there is evidence they have) or that contract agreements between users and producers (in fine print and easily modified) will prevent ISPs from influencing net speed, are either naive or deceitful. Moreover, ISP service, like certain types of health care, are not easy purchases to install or return. The difficulty of switching (or simply non-availability of choice in some cases) is an impediment to free market self-regulation.
