In reviewing the new FCC proposal, the apparent attempt is to put large corporations in charge of all communications, and to cut out any individual's ability to bypass or circumvent the virtual 'lock' that corporate entities will ultimately gain in their control. The proposal discourages the innovation that has actually driven much of the U.S. economy for the last 15 years. However, it would apparently serve as an effective means of payback for the support which the current administration, and current Congressional majority, has been able to supply multinationals and plutocrats.
