As a consumer, tax payer and American citizen, I urge all reading this to vote NO on proceeding 17-108, commonly known as the dismantling of current Net Neutrality standards. With large ISPs such as Comcast and Verizon poised to profit from the passage of this proceeding, its passage will only stand to hurt the free flow of information in America. For a free press to truly function in the digital age, an internet where ALL traffic flows at the same speed and with equal priority is necessary. While you are twisting this proceeding as ÒderegulatingÓ the internet all that stands to come from prodeeding 17-108Õs passage is an internet where tiers, throttling and paid fastlanes exist.
