For many people, the internet is the primary means by which they receive news and information.  For them to effectively participate in our democracy, it is critical that they continue to receive that information without censorship or restriction.  By weakening the protections on Net Neutrality, we would allow corporations to the ability to directly control what information we can and cannot access.  This is counter to everything our nation has stood for since its creation.

In addition, allowing internet service providers to allow tiered access to the internet will further segregate our nation based on wealth, and lead to a further reinforcement of the divisions that are already threatening to destroy our nation.
