A free and open internet is vital to the U.S, by throwing 
away net neutrality a handful of telecom giants will have 
full control of a vital communications and information 
pipeline. They will use that to their advantage and will 
throttle speeds and give preferential treatment to content 
they support. In other words the desire for money drives it,
the desire for money command to the greatest amount of 
space on it, any real and meaningful use of the internet for
the greater good is stifled by the cost of space.
