I have just had the opportunity to watch and observe a newsreel on the subject of internet nuetrality. The newsreel points out the topics of the freedoms that I and my community seem to have enjoyed because of that neutrality and its promise. Recent developments within the legislature threaten this sense of safety; in fact, foreboding potential developments raise the level of concern beyond the threshhold that we feel is fair. In fact, to refer to the newsreel, the proponents for the dismantling of neutrality are proven to argue both sides of the issue, depending on whose field they stand in at the time. They are on tape stealing from taxpayers, just as those who steal cigarettes from shopettes and convenient stores. Now they want to steal the internet from those who pay for that medium. Then, perhaps slowly, perhaps more quickly, they will steal that mediumfrom the good people who post on it. You say there is no evidence of this? Just watch as the chief executive exhorts over senators who have raped little girls. Listen as those victims tell their stories-you can't hear them anymore? I wonder why? Listen as the chief executive tells stories about hordes of muslims cheering as planes destroyed New York. Pretty soon we may not get to hear the truth, only fairy tales created by masters of lies. And our so-called representatives will be tied to their chairs as those in Russia are, presently. Until it is taxtime, and their masters have tired of paying their fair share-then it will be those representatives turn to give up the priveleges guaranteed them by the Constitution. They will post the internet in protest-but in the most Orwellian manner the joke will be on them.
