I'm writing to you today to implore you not to repeal net neutrality. Existing regulations need to remain in order for ALL businesses and people to have equal access to the Internet. By repealing this you would be setting up a corrupt system where the First Amendment would effectively not be upheld for those people without enough money to get seen on the Internet.

Income inequality in the U.S. already is such that the Internet is the last bastion where people from all levels of society on a global scale have an equal playing field. If you take that away, you will help the top 1% amass even more power & influence over others who can not afford to pay as much.

Our free speech will be immediately affected in a negative way, and we as customers will be forced to pay more for an inferior product. Undoing net neutrality will hobble small business start-ups and limit free speech. It will degrade Internet access for those without the means to pay for faster service, thus limiting their learning curve, and it will financially reward service providers that already have benefited too much by our government’s lax regulation and oversight.

Please help the millions of people in the US who don’t have a voice and don’t have the means to afford the looming prices that will result if you repeal net neutrality. Vote to keep net neutrality as it is.
