To Whom It May Concern, The internet is no longer a simple convenience or luxury item. It is a necessity for the function of an online-connected society such as ours. Those who are left out of it face hurdles in access to information, government resources, personal education, public education requirements, job resources, and so much more. Denial or undue difficulty of access has real impacts on the lives of Americans. The exorbitant price gauging, poor support, and underhanded dealings of internet providers around the US exist because of the regional monopolies that we have allowed to rule our internet access. Any limitations that may be imposed by these providers are a challenge to our right to access those resources and information, and risk allowing a form of censorship that no corporation or government should have over the people of a nation. Censorship need not be outright banning of material. To create a compelling inconvenience or cost in access is enough, and to allow any entity the right to impose such restrictions in any form is too much. The internet should be classified as a utility necessary for reasonable function in the United States, and net neutrality should be preserved and enforced by the FCC. Thank you, Jesse Sell
