Net Neutrality exists on the internet to protect the equality of all who inhabit this digital space. It promotes new business and new ideas because the platform is completely neutral to the size of the entity that has taken up residence within this digital space. It allows people to communicate ideas or sell a product based explicitly on the merits of those ideas or products without the need to grease the wheels of corporations that may have a vested interest in seeing those products or ideas suppressed out of fear of effecting their own bottom line. 

Removing Net Neutrality would be a sure fire way to pass extra cost onto the consumer for no good reason, while allowing more established business to crush the innovation of smaller upstarts before they ever get off the ground. Its a sure fire way to see e-commerce lead into monopoly for a few select corporations. The internet should remain a neutral platform for the free exchange of commerce and ideas. It is a vital tool for humanity as we move into the future. Its a repository of knowledge that needn't be tampered with.
