Dear Sirs: I write in strong opposition to the FCC's plan to eliminate net neutrality in the name of "Restoring Internet Freedom." Curiously, it seems the internet is curently free, and your bill might better be called "Towards Pay-to-Play Speech on the Internet." I currently pay my internet provider to provide me with the internet. If your proposal passes, I will then have to shop internet providers to find one that has an open-internet policy, rather than one serving corporate interests that filters what I receive based on their profits or interests. This makes about as much sense as eliminating the consumer protection fiduciary rule that states financial advisers should act in the best interest of, god forbid, their client. Oh wait, that repeal has already made it's way through the House. Why is it that petulant ignorance has become a calling card of the entire right wing of America, and ergo, the Trump administration? At some point you guys will have to get behind what Trump is for, and not just stand against everything Obama stood for. At least Obama could carry a compound thought from A to D, passing through B and C along the way, while Trump gets lost before even getting out of A, only to find himself mumbling about greatness, or Hillary, or his golf empire. Please just leave the internet free as it already is, rather than restoring corporate control to it. Last I checked the Constitution was all about free speech, not speech from the highest bidder.
