The internet, and the ability to access the internet at an equal rate, belongs to everyone. How dare you attempt to monetize a public utility for the profits of a very few corporations? You will edge out any company who cannot compete with global corporations, driving the price of internet up with lack of competition. 

Comcast got themselves in this position through their own greed. They have lost business with high prices, poor package choices, and terrible service. Are we, or are we not a free market society? Comcast had their chance and they blew it. People were forced to look for less expensive options to watch programs. 

Did they ever lay cable fiber to rural communities for internet, LIKE THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO when they were allowed their merger/monopoly? NO!! Make them provide cable internet to everyone or break them up. 

Leave our internet alone, now, next month, next year. Forever. Make it a public utility. With our awful internet speeds, which are only going to get slower if we end net neutrality, how are we to compete with Europe and Asia in education, in business?
