Hello I am a programmer. Since a young age I have taught myself invaluable skills thanks to the open internet. Although I am a freshman in college, I hope one day to own my own internet business. Under current Title II legislation, my chances as an individual at starting an online business are good, because I am ensured an equal chance. If ISPs are removed from Title II legislation then I, like many other entreprenuers, will simply not make it, as ISPs could slow traffic to my site or force me to pay money that small bootstrapped startups don't have. In addition, the internet is not owned or controlled by a single entity. It spans contients, and is an essential tool of democracy, allowing many more voices to be heard than ever before. Giving ISPs control of what information we do and don't see is a dangerous encroachment on our first amendment rights, and would take our country in a very dangerous direction. Please Ajit Pai and the FCC, please don't vote to remove ISPs from Title II. You will doom us all.
