I find it quite distressing that my original comment left on 17-108 was replaced by a "Restoring Internet Freedom" shill in California...another clear example of how Network Neutrality does need to be protected from those who would like nothing more than to prioritize internet service providers’ services and to charge all others for the privilege to communicate on their network. Sadly, if this were allowed to pass it would ultimately end up harming the small businesses struggling to make ends meet on the internet and to silence those which don't share their internet service providers’ ideals regardless of what those opinions are. I would like to trust these companies to be impartial in their business, to treat all people, from children up to the CEO’s of companies, equally. However, history teaches us that companies will always feel out alternatives to increase their income, which is what I expect most companies to do, but I cannot trust a business that says we shouldn’t have equal access to everything available…especially when the difference is between 0’s and 1’s. I haven’t ranted enough yet, but I have a job to do…and I hope you do yours right for all our sakes.
