I’m worried that the protections that are in place will be weakened if we change the way they’re enforced. I would support a new regulation style if it guarantees the same or better protections, but not if we lose any. Public monies subsidised and created the internet. That investment has to be protected from exploitation by service providers, and it is exploitation when service providers will allow content to be treated differently based on a content's provider being willing to pay for that. That favors the big provider over the little provider, and establishes an uneven play ground. What the FCC should be doing is to guarantee a level playing field, and therefore guidelines should be strengthened and not weakened.
