The only thing that would stop the corporations benefitting from net neutrality from controlling information to a dystopian extent is their own word, which is worth less than the zimbabwean dollar. Their defences of the repeal have been to deflect the questions about it and state that it would benefit business, when giving them control would actually allow them to establish even more of an oligopoly by being able to shut out upstart groups and companies.
