The crazy thing is that if the FCC does away with net neutrality, there will regulation on the content of the internet that was not there before: the companies who control the internet pipes are the ones who will be doing the regulating. With net neutrality, information is treated equally -- unregulated. You would think that the people proposing this change would be for deregulation, alas but no, they appear to be for censorship. How can this possibly benefit mainstream American citizens? How can proponents of this change believe that people should be treated more equally with regards to taxes, but believe that some people and entities should pay more per megabyte than others with regards to the internet?
