Comment on Docket 16-239 As an extra class Amateur radio operator living in a very remote region of Alaska, I would like to give my support for Docket # 16-239. The need for removal of the 300 baud limit. I also would like to give my support for the Amateur Radio Safety Foundation, Inc (ARSFI) position on 16-239. The need to remove the 300 baud limit for the future of digital communications in Amateur Radio is crucial. I have used the Winlink system for many years and at times it has been the only means of digital communications for passing traffic. The continuation of this system and the need for it to grow is necessary for remote areas of Alaska that lack even the basics of emergency communications.
