I truly value net neutrality as it currently stands and I believe it is the first-amendment of the World Wide Web. Tim Berners-Lee, the creator of the WWW, intended for it to be an open platform that allows anyone to share information, access opportunities and collaborate across geographical boundaries. The FCC naming this proceeding as "Restore Internet Freedom" is an insult to Tim Berners-Lee and many American citizens, like myself, because repealing net neutrality would do the exact opposite. I would be highly disappointed if it were repealed. Repealing it would only benefit large corporations and will prevent many Americans from achieving the American dream of finding success. This will not only prevent Americans from becoming the next great programmers and developers such as Gates and Zuckerberg but it will ultimately pave the way for other countries to surpass us as the tech innovators. I urge the members of the FCC to stand on the right side of history and VOTE NO TO REPEAL NET NEUTRALITY.
