Cutting support for community access television is a huge mistake.   For more than 40 years,  community access television has been providing reliable local news and information all over the country.   It provides citizens a forum for their voices.  It helps facilitate participation in government.   Don't sell out to corporate interests!   Corporations will claim that this will help provide rate relief to consumers,  but you and I already know it will be a very short term gain for the public,  a long term gain for corporate interests,  and community access television will be gone forever.
